Protest in Harmony

Singers standing in front of the Protest in Harmony bannerI have been one of the song leaders with Protest in Harmony , Edinburgh’s radical street choir, for many years, together with Penny Stone and Shereen Benjamin. Protest in Harmony is a fabulous supportive community of politically engaged singers who bring song to a wide Jane and Penny dressed as rabbits leading singing outised Faslane Naval Baserange of marches, demonstrations, vigils and solidarity events in Edinburgh, Scotland and sometimes UK-wide. We sing about peace, justice, the environment and human rights. They have also been kind enough to sing some of the songs I have written over the years! I have stepped back a bit over the past year to make space for Rebellious Singers but still co-lead some of the sessions, bringing a particular focus on environmental songs. All welcome!

During the Coronavirus crisis we are still connecting and meeting to sing and campaign on Zoom.
